Cardio Kickboxing

Are you ready for the hardest workout of your life ?
Our program director Amir, has been teaching Kickboxing for 15 years. As a result, Amir has combined Kickboxing with an aerobic style.

The workouts are set to fast-paced music. Today, we have approximately 500 members, most of which are females participating in the Cardio-Kickboxing program here at Amir's Gym.

We offer 'Cardio-Kickboxing' as we call it, 6 days a week!

We feel this gives you the opportunity to workout with us no matter what schedule you are currently following (i.e. work, school etc.)

The class itself contains a variety of exercise which incorporates many muscle groups in your body, some of which you may not know existed!

The following description will give you a general idea of how the class is run:

         Phase 1         

  The first phase of the class is a solid warm up followed by stretching and muscle toning movements. After we are up and running, the Cardio-Kickboxing begins.
You will practice punches, kicks, knees and elbows used in both Western and
Muay Thai boxing. Resulting in a thorough workout of your arms, shoulder, glutes, thighs and ab's.




         Phase 2          

The second phase generally consists of getting a partner and practicing your         techniques on focus pads. You and your partner will each take turns of  2 or 3
minute rounds.

A one hour class burns between 700-900 calories!




         Phase 3          

We're not quite finished yet! After all this, you will spend the last few rounds working on push-ups and sit-ups. We then cool down and stretch before we send you home feeling great about yourself!




At Amir's Gym, we promise that you will receive the most intensive workout you have ever experienced, while having fun at the same time.

Our program director and his instructors will push you to get into shape, keep you smiling and have you begging to come back for more. That's the beauty of our workout, it's ALWAYS fun!
